Title: Edu Atlas
Goal: Edu Atlas (https://eduatlasorg.wordpress.com) is an easy-to-navigate website designed to help parents and children during the COVID-19 crisis: it provides an organized platform of learning resources separated by category and age for children to browse through and productively engage in, allowing parents to focus on their work or find time for themselves. With activities ranging from virtual tours of national parks to popular book collections and arts & craft projects, Edu Atlas aims to provide a diverse supply of quality activities for elementary students, encouraging them to be curious and intellectually engaged at home. Aside from activities, Edu Atlas encourages compassion and kindness through its #CardsforCaregivers initiative, inviting children to create appreciation cards for medical personnel to make a positive impact. Currently, Edu Atlas has over 350 curated activities, with more activities added every couple of days. Over the past three months, we have gained over 6,000 views and over 1,500 visitors; however, we hope to help more people in San Diego County and beyond. Therefore, the bulk of our current effort is directed towards outreach (emailing schools and news organizations to reach communities who may find our website helpful).

Title: WanderGuardian: A Mobile App to Mitigate Spread of COVID-19 from Wanderers
Goal: This mobile app’s goal is to limit wandering-related transmission of COVID-19 as well as to raise public awareness about the potential dangers of wandering. I also hope this technology will ease the burden of families who are caring for dementia patients, as well as developmentally disabled children at home during pandemic. For my next phase, I will be implementing Bluetooth beacons, which cost $20 each. In the situation when a wanderer forgets to bring their phone, these pocket-sized devices will allow WanderGuardian to detect when the user is in the vicinity of their mobile device. If the wanderer is too far away from their phone, the caregiver is alerted. It will be complete by end of June.

Title: Aid to Alleviate Poverty and its COVID- 19 Effects
Goal: The goal is to raise 500 dollars to combat coronavirus and its effect on the poor, by fundraising through banking: door-to-door, texting, and calling. The money provides healthy meals for the poor, and would significantly decrease the amount of people that would go hungry this year. Additionally, to provide aid to those in impoverishment, I am hosting two food drives, and donating the food to local community centers and food banks.
