API Student Internship in Journalism
Alliance of Chinese Americans (ACA) San Diego has two scholarships immediately available to local high school and college students. These scholarships are established to improve the awareness of current events and increase social involvement in local Asian communities. Each scholarship is for a 12-months term with a total monetary award of $2,000, paid in two equal installments at the beginning and the end of the term. A certificate of achievement will also be awarded to the winners of the scholarships at the end of their term. The recipients of these scholarships are required to write at least one essay each month on local or national events. These essays can be in English or Mandarin. They will be shared in social medias to bring them to the attention of the Asian communities.
