Project Abstract: ​

Bridge to Support + Smiling Stars (BSSS) is a joint volunteer project of 8 members: Lauren Kan, Emily Wu, Anya Yousuf, Selina Sun, Max Yang, Sophia Wu, Joyce Chen, and Andrew Zhou. Our project is dedicated to assisting people with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism. To manage our efforts effectively, we have decided to split into two teams. One half of the team (Andrew, Lauren, Max) prioritizes improving the English comprehension and communication skills of autistic students through weekly classes. The other group (Emily, Anya, Selina, Sophia, Joyce) is responsible for creating and presenting informational slides at workshops to provide the community with advice and guidance about opportunities as well as to increase awareness of developmental disabilities.
