STEM and Sport Support for Neurodivergent Children

Project Abstract:
STEM and Sports for Neuro club is a student-led initiative dedicated to supporting neurodivergent youth through inclusive, peer-driven workshops focused on life skills, social connection, and confidence-building. Designed for children with ADHD, Autism, and similar conditions, our weekly sessions integrate hands-on STEM activities, creative projects, and movement-based games to foster engagement, flexible thinking, and teamwork.

All workshops are led by trained high school and middle school volunteers in a structured, supportive environment. Activities are guided by visual schedules and predictable routines to create comfort and consistency for participants. Our program emphasizes individualized attention, safety, and trust-building.

This project also seeks to reduce cultural stigma surrounding neurodiversity in underserved Asian American communities. Through outreach, awareness efforts, and partnerships with local organizations, we aim to promote inclusion and understanding.

With ACA support, we plan to impact over 100 youth monthly, donate handmade items to local causes to raise autism awareness, and fundraise for neurodiversity-focused organizations. Our goal is to create a community where all children feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
