Sun and Water Safety

Project Abstract:
This project is designed to benefit school-age children in the Asian community, particularly those with limited access to formal swim instruction and water safety education. Many of these children face an increased risk of water-related accidents due to a lack of swimming training and may also be unaware of the long-term risks associated with sun exposure during outdoor activities. This initiative aims to provide both physical skills and practical knowledge to support their lifelong health and well-being.There is also potential to include senior adults in the Asian community in the sun safety education component. Due to reliability considerations, only sun safety education, not swim instruction—will be offered to senior participants.
