2020 API YOUTH INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Responding to COVID-19 pandemic, the internship organizer has established a separate program which funds COVID-19 related projects. Those who are interested in the COVID-19 projects can learn more from here.
The 2020 API Youth Internship Program is now accepting applications. College or graduate students of ethnic Asian Pacific Islanders are encouraged to apply.
This year's program is jointly organized by ACA and APAPA San Diego (Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs Association).
Initiated and sponsored in part by Civic Leadership USA, the internship program aims to train and cultivate future civic leaders, as well as to build strong relationship between local government and API community. In addition, the program is intended to inspire API youth for active civic engagement.
ACA and APAPA are the San Diego partners of CLUSA and have arranged internship positions with the local government offices listed below. Candidates will be placed in selective offices, based on their interest, skill and qualifications.
