(10/27/2024) Board meeting (Agenda: Budget Review, 2024 Summer Internship Scholarship Recipients, Youth Board Planning, Expansion of the Mental Health Project)
(10/1/2024) With additional fundraising, the ACA Board has approved a second round of 2024 Action for Community Advancement Scholarship to selected recipients.
(8/18/2024) The ACA 2024 Summer Intern Award Ceremony featured Congresswoman Sarah Jacobs as the keynote speaker. A total of 83 students attended the ceremony and received Certificates of Achievement.

(6/29/2024) Chenyang Rickard, Katelyn Wang, and Lia Zheng attended the 2024 UCA Convention in Washington, D.C., representing ACA.
(6/20/2024) Following two weeks of interviews and several board meetings, the ACA Board has approved 9 projects as first scholarship recipients for the 2024 Action for Community Advancement Scholarship.
(5/10/2024) Following a competitive interview process and writing sample review, four high school students have been awarded the ACA 2024 Journalism Scholarship. Each recipient will work under the mentorship of Evan Peng to produce three articles over the course of the program.
(5/8/2024) ACA is awarded a $2,900 travel grant from United Chinese Americans (UCA) to support multiple students to attend the 2024 Chinese American Convention.

(4/17/2024) Four students recommended by ACA have successfully passed their interviews and accepted 2024 public service internships in the offices of Congressman Scott Peters, Congresswoman Sara Jacobs, County Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer, and Congressman Mike Levin. To prepare them, ACA hosted a Boot Camp where Ron T. Cho and Kho Nguyen provided excellent training to our 2024 public office internship cohort.
